Sergio

Lead Vocals & Guitar

Was exposed to rock at an early age and was inspired to pickup the guitar after spending hours shredding on guitar hero 3. I never saw myself as metal vocalist, but i did like to sing along to music. I stepped up as the frontman after we parted with our original singer.

Luis

Drums

Once I heard the opening drum part to Master of Puppets on Metallica’s “Live Sh**: Binge & Purge Seattle 89’” video on youtube, I was sold. Was never much of a musician. Besides a failed guitar stint when I was 12, I got hooked on drums because seeing the energy and ferocity Lars Ulrich threw behind the kit was mesmerizing. Since starting the band back in 2015 with Sergio and Vince, my original motivator was to be a little sh** and rebel against my parents. Almost 8 years later it’s to make it big, to prove to the kid still in his room out in South Central you can make it. Won’t be easy, but if you want it you’ll get it. My influences change every day, but right now its Lois Cole, Metallica, Nujabes, Human Bloom, Buddy Rich, all the oldies the OGs in LA play in their Cadillacs, and Megadeth.

Austin

Guitar & Vocals

I didn't have too much interest in music until my brother began showing me different bands. I remember watching the VH1 Behind the Music on Megadeth, and that really started me listening to thrash music. On my 8th birthday I got a guitar, and later joined my schools choir, both of which taught me to read music and perform, and over the years I learned a lot of songs and eventually started writing my own. This led me to joining other local musicians, and eventually led me to joining Mortalis, which was a good fit compared to the more prominent punk scene around me. Since joining I've really expanded on writing and focus on making sure the rhythm and notes I choose to play aren't what always comes naturally and comfortably, since I believe playing outside of your comfort zone helps you to grow and write differently. Major influences would be Megadeth, Overkill, Annihilator, Judas Priest, Metallica, Blue Oyster Cult, Black Sabbath

Vince

Bass

Started playing bass during my Junior year in High-School because of an anime called K-ON and the movie Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, and just wanted to make some friends with music. Started with learning anime covers and alt rock songs and eventually met Luis in my Chemistry class who asked me to play bass with him and his friends. Even though I sucked it was a lot of fun. I wasn't really interested in playing metal at the time it began to grow on me and I had fun headbanging with my friends on stage. Some bass players that have inspired me to be better is Frank Bello, Cliff Burton, and Flea and of course Mio from K-ON.
